Amy’s Canine Kindergarten can help you train your dog, no matter the age or issue. We’ll help you modify your canine companion’s problem behavior, fine-tune your dog’s command responses, or learn more about safety between kids and canines.
We use Positive Reinforcement Training, a highly effective science-based method. Our training incorporates fun exercises, motivational games, and rewards to teach dogs desirable behaviors, and curb unwanted ones -- without the use of pain, intimidation, threats or scare tactics.
Our trainings are fun and beneficial for owners, as well! We’ll teach you to understand how your dog learns, and what your dog needs and wants. You’ll learn to read canine body language, and to communicate with your dog through a strong bond of respect and kindness.
We offer puppy training, basic and advanced behavioral training, family dog training, canine good citizen evaluations, and kids-and-canines safety lessons. We work with issues such as leash pulling, nipping or biting, chewing, jumping, separation anxiety, house training, barking, whining, and all types of aggression. We offer in-home private lessons, group training lessons, board-and-train options, and day-trainings.
